What is Compute Screener?
A free price screener for AI compute: a daily price index for renting each GPU (H100, H200, A100, B200, B300, RTX PRO 6000), the prices of contracts on those GPUs at the exchanges that trade them, and the token prices of 10 AI companies. It is on the web, and in AI apps such as Claude and ChatGPT through the connector.
How do I use it in Claude or ChatGPT?
Add https://computescreener.com/mcp as a connector, with no sign-in. The Connect page has the steps for each app, example questions and troubleshooting.
How often are prices updated?
GPU and provider prices every 2 to 3 hours, exchange prices about every minute, and token prices once a day. Times are shown in your own time zone.
Where do the prices come from?
From providers' and exchanges' own public prices. How each index is calculated, and every source, is on the methodology page.
Can I trade or rent on Compute Screener?
No. The Trade and Rent buttons open the exchange's or provider's own website. A link marked "Paid link" may earn Compute Screener a referral fee; it never changes prices or the order of rows.
Can I use the data?
Yes. The data is published under CC BY 4.0: you can copy, share and adapt it, including commercially, with the credit "Compute Screener (computescreener.com)". The details are in the terms.
Is this investment advice?
No. Prices are for information only; see the terms.
What data does it collect?
The connector keeps no record of requests, and there are no accounts or ads. The website counts visits without cookies. Details are in the privacy policy.
